Founded in 2020 by Megan Werven, Something Sweet has grown from a home-based project into one of Grand Forks’ most creative catering companies. Megan, originally from Cavalier, ND, combines her background in interior design with her passion for food to create charcuterie boards, grazing tables, and custom catering that are as visually stunning as they are delicious. From intimate birthday parties to large-scale events of 500 guests, Megan designs every menu to fit the occasion, offering buffet-style catering, seasonal creations, and show-stopping grazing displays. Her work has been featured at major community gatherings with organizations like the University of North Dakota,  Altru, and Alerus Center. At its core, Something Sweet is about connection—using food to bring people together and make every guest feel seen, celebrated, and cared for!
